You should only do this once. Class list updates will take immediate effect.
If you require a minor change, such as re-naming or adding/removing a class, please contact our dedicated Customer Support Team any time via our contact form, or via 1300 590 044 weekdays from 7:00am-3:30pm AEDT.
How to update your class list
1. Log in to your supplier portal and select 'Class List Update' from the navigation bar.
2. Select your school from the dropdown.
3. Choose the relevant class list update option.
Please note: The last time your classes were updated will appear on the left. If your classes have been updated recently, we recommend contacting Flexischools to make any additional minor changes. Otherwise, all parents will be forced to select a new class before they can order.
4. If required, edit your class list. Please continue reading for instructions to edit your class list.
5. Click 'Submit'. Remember, this will take immediate effect and prompt all parents to update their class list before they are able to place their next order.
Class list update options
New class names: This allows you to enter a new list of class names.
Your existing class list will appear. You can then add classes, edit the existing class names, change the order and remove classes.
Class names remain the same but students need to select their new class: Use this option if you would like to make no changes to your class list, but would like students to select their new class.
Your existing class list will appear. Once submitted, students will be prompted to select their new class before placing their next order.
Update class name to use generic names: This will update your class list to one class per year level, and you will not be able to make changes.
No changes required: This option is used if each student remains in the same year and class as last
year. This is normally used for international schools that run on the European calendar or schools that do not use standard calendar years.
Editing your Class List
Year level group: These are shown to parents, and are not printed on your labels. If you require changes to your year level groups, please contact our Customer Support Team here or via phone on 1300 590 044.
Class name: This is shown to parents when selecting their class and is not printed on your label.
Please note: parents first select a year level, then a class. This means that for composite classes, it is best to enter the class name in both year level groups.
Route code: You must enter a route code for every class. This is what prints on your label and is not visible to parents when selecting their class.
To edit existing class names and route codes
1. Click the existing class name or route code text.
2. Make your change and hit 'enter' on your keyboard.
To add a new class
1. Find the relevant year level group.
2. Click 'Add New Class' and enter the name of your class.
3. Click the green tick and update the route code if necessary.
To change the order of classes
1. Drag and drop your classes using the squares on the left hand side.
To remove a class
1. Click the red 'X' to remove a class.
