BEFORE you do anything else - check the version of FlexiPOS installed
go to menu ->help - > version. You can check the version available of the app store to see if yours is up to date
App not available or crashing
Unable to login or transact
- Check your device internet connection, open a browser and make sure you can browse to www.flexischools.com.au
- Incorrect password? Call our support team on 1300 590 044 to reset
Option missing in settings screen to enable cash or EFTPOS
- Call our support team on 1300 590 044 to update your FlexiPOS operating mode
Student card not scanning
- Try both your attached scanner and the inbuild camera function to see if it can read the barcode on the student card. If it works with the camera and not the attached scanner then your scanner might need reconfiguring.
Items missing
- FlexiPOS will only show you items that are in stock and available at time of login. If you have changed the availability of some items on the supplier portal please log out and back in again to refresh your items.
- Check the item is linked to the FlexiPOS service in the supplier portal
- Logout and back into FlexiPOS to show the latest view of items
Barcode Scanning
- Ensure the barcode scanner is set to 'very slow' data transfer rate. This will be in the setup guide for the scanner
- Check that the barcode you are trying to scan matches the numbers saved in the SKU of the item or option
- Florescent lights can interfere with a barcode picking up the scan correctly, especially with reflective surfaces like crisp packets. It is normal that sometimes an operator might need to adjust the item and rescan. (Just like you do in self checkout at coles)
EFTPOS

- The terminal must be connected to the internet. Any errors like 'unable to logon' that is shown on the terminal mean the issue is with the terminal and the customer should contact the bank

Screen not being tap responsive
- On tablets you can disable the keyboard shortcut in settings to stop the behavior where it feels like you have to double tap an item. Just remind them they would need to turn it back on to get to the keyboard prompt again if they need it
